WhatsApp Status Messages are a great way to share photos, texts and videos with all your contacts. You probably use this feature every day to send short-lived content that disappears after 24 hours. First, open the status tab and post a new status. Then wait a bit for your contacts to see the content. Next, click on the three dots next to your post.

On the next page you see all still active slides, ie all status messages that you posted less than 24 hours ago. Next to the status thumbnail you will find a counter that shows you how many people have seen the content.

Also, it is possible to see the full list of users who opened the status. From the Status tab, tap a notification and click the eye icon. You will see that the number matches the number you saw in the count above.

If no one is viewing your status updates, make sure your privacy settings aren’t preventing this. Go to the Status tab menu and tap Status privacy (status privacy).
