How to enable widget shortcuts in the taskbar
The first step you need to take to start using widgets is to pin their icon to the taskbar. Before we go any further, we need to clarify two things. Firstly, the widgets are included in the taskbar by default. So if you haven’t changed the settings, their icon should be there. And secondly Widgets can be reached with the key combination Windows + Weven if they are not pinned to the taskbar.
When these two points are clear, add them by right-clicking on the taskbar and clicking the button Taskbar settings click

The widget shortcut is then active again in the taskbar.

Add, remove or configure current widgets
When the appropriate shortcut is present in the taskbar, it’s time to configure this feature for the first time. If you’re using a local account that’s not linked to a Microsoft profile, you have to register for the session. But be careful! If you enter your account here, it will be linked to the entire system. If you don’t want that, you’ll have to stop using Windows 11 widgets.

The widgets will now load. To add a new widget use the button Add widgets.

Add the widgets of your choice and customize your interests using the link below. With this last action you will improve the messages that appear in this area.

Finally, you configure the widgets according to your wishes. All options are available via the three dots button next to each widget.
