To delete a user account in Windows 10, you need to use the System settings app use. To do this, open the Start menu and click on the cogwheel.

Select a user account and click the button Removeto delete the account.

In this process all data of the user will be deleted. Therefore, you should make sure that the account owner has backed up any photos, documents, downloads, or other files before confirming this.
However, in Windows 10 there is still an alternative method that allows you to get other users’ information. To access this method, you must use the Control Panel. In this case, use Windows search and type control panel. Select the first result.

Choose the option Remove user accounts.
Delete user account
Select the account you want to delete and click on it.

Click on the option Delete the account.

In the next step you can choose whether you want to delete or keep all data for this user. Use Delete files (Delete files)to erase all your information and Keep files (keep files)to save them. In the second case, the documents will be placed on your desk. Please note that this does not include configuration of installed applications such as email accounts.

In an effort to make the control panel go away, Microsoft is moving all of these settings to the System Settings app. The latter method is likely to become obsolete in the near future. Also remember that you Administrator rights must have to delete someone else’s user account.
