Die spell check is a very useful tool that will help you write better when talking to your contacts on WhatsApp. If it is not activated by default on your mobile device, in this article we will explain how you can activate it and use it properly.
Before we start the explanations, it is important to clarify that WhatsApp does not include a spell checker in its official application. In fact, it uses the keyboard spell checker you set as the default. In our case, we use Gboard, Google’s keyboard that comes pre-installed on most Android devices.
For this reason it is time to explain to you how to use the corrector in android and can also activate it in WhatsApp. First, tap the text box below to bring up the keyboard. Then tap the gear icon to access Settings.

Find the option in the list Text correction and tap them.

Scroll down to the section Spelling (spelling, orthography) and enable the option Spell check (spell check). The keyboard highlights words that contain misspelled words. This makes it easier for you to correct them.

If you want the spell checker to work automatically, enable the option Auto-correction.

If you only enable the spell check option, misspelled words will be underlined in red. Then tap it to see the spell checker’s suggested corrections.
