Exporting the screen to Projection
When we need to make a presentation, projection devices are of course indispensable in the fields. Of course, projectors alone are useless. They work by projecting the screen onto the board, curtain or wall with the help of a computer. Connection is provided with VGA and HDMI inputs.
In order to project the computer, you can easily project the image with a simple shortcut key provided by the Windows operating system, which is probably known but forgotten by most of us, little known or not known at all.
In Windows 7 , Windows 8 or Windows 10 operating systems, you can mirror the screen to a second screen by using the key combination below.
Windows Key + P
Of course, this shortcut key is not only valid for projection devices, you can easily perform mirroring to all devices such as ” Projector , Television , Monitor ” by using this shortcut key.
When this shortcut key is used, you will see 4 options on your computer. (You can switch between these options by pressing the P key or using the keyboard arrow keys.)
- Computer Screen Only: The screen appears only on the computer you use. This option is used if the screen is not wanted to be seen by the audience while the presentation is being made over the projection.
- Repeat : The same image is displayed on the computer and on the projector.
- Extend : Two separate screens can be obtained by extending the screen. In this way, by projecting the images you want to the second screen, you can deal with different studies on the computer you use. (This is useful for users who usually use two monitors)
- Second Screen Only: The screen appears only in projection. You cannot see any images on your computer when you use this option.
I hope the information I shared about the shortcut to transfer the image to the projection was useful.
