One of the biggest problems with today’s mobile devices is their limited storage capacity. If you want to free up storage space on Google Play, there are two options. The first concerns the app itself and consists of clearing the cache memory that it uses on our device to save space. The second option goes directly to deleting installed apps, for which Google Play provides its own tool.
Free up space in the Google Play app
Look for the Google Play icon on your device. Press and hold for a few seconds until a floating menu appears. Once there, tap the “i” in the bottom right corner.

Once you are in the app info menu, tap Storage (Storage).

In this section you can see how much space the app itself takes up on your device. tap Clear Hidden (Clearing the Cache) to clear the app’s cache data, freeing up some space.

if you up Clear Data click, you delete files, settings, databases, accounts… You save space, but it’s a problem for the operation of the app and others that you can download through it. Think very carefully about whether you want to do this.
How to free up storage space on your device with Google Pay
To free up space on your device using the Google Play app, open the application from your device’s app menu or its shortcut if it exists. Once the tool launches, tap the three stripes icon in the top left corner.
Access the options menu
Tap on the menu that opens My apps & games.

Go to installed applications
Now you will see a list of all your installed apps. You can sort them by Google Play recommended apps, size, data usage or the classic alphabetical list.
Tap each app to check the corresponding box. As you choose which apps to delete, Google Play will show you how much space you’ll save in the green bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap this button to free up space.
Select the apps to uninstall
A pop-up window appears with the message Free up space (free up storage space). tap Free up Xwhere “X” is the space that will be freed.
Confirm the deletion of apps
At the end you will get a message.
Check the vacated space
It’s important to distinguish between disk space and memory. Your data, such as music, photos or videos, are stored in the storage space. The working memory, on the other hand, is the temporary storage space that is active as long as you are running programs or applications, such as the device’s Android system. Each file or app takes up more or less space, memory, or both, so you need to consider what’s best for you.
