There is a way to unlock Penny, one way and only one: by opening Brawl Boxes, Big Boxes and Mega Boxes, as many as possible. For this you have to do three things: go through the Trophy Road (where you sometimes get them as a reward), complete the seasonal trophies (with activated Brawl Pass you have more chances) or buy gems with real money to exchange them for crates.
Keep in mind that Penny is a “super rare” character. What does that mean? That such a brawler has the following chances of appearing in the boxes:
- 1.17% in Brawl Boxes
- 1,20 % in Big Boxes
- 1.20 % in Megaboxes
If the chances of such a character appearing are slim, imagine what it would be like to have Penny appear alone and exclusively. That’s a lot of crates to open, and as you can see, there’s no guarantee that a brawler of this category will appear. However, there is nothing to stop you from trying your luck if you want to. Despite this, she is still easier to obtain than a legendary or a chromatic character.
And what makes Penny desirable? Well basically the range of their attacks. She can attack from afar, making her one of the best snipers in the game. Her special attack is also interesting, as she can place a turret that shoots down any players that come within range (which, we should note, is also quite large).
These abilities make Penny an ideal brawler for encounters like Heist, Boss Fight or can even surprise in Showdown. This isn’t a character for everyone, you’ll need to have some experience in the game to get the most out of it. But if handled well, it becomes a nightmare for opponents.
