There are two methods to unlock characters in Brawl Stars: completing Trophy Road and unlocking Brawl Boxes, Big Boxes and Mega Boxes.
Unlock Brawlers with the Trophy Road
The Trophy Road is a feature that has been in Brawl Stars since its inception. It’s a road that we’ll gradually travel along throughout the game, earning trophies in each game. Once we reach a certain number of trophies, we unlock various rewards, including new brawlers.
Trophy Road
The Brawlers that can be unlocked through Trophy Road are the following:
- Nita: Unlocked with 10 trophies.
- Colt: Unlocked by reaching 60 trophies.
- Trails: Requires 250 trophies to unlock.
- jessie: It takes 500 trophies to get them.
- Brock: 1000 trophies to unlock.
- Dynamics: Unlocked when you reach 2000 trophies.
- Bo: 3000 trophies are required to unlock it.
- Tick: Unlocked at 4000 trophies.
- 8-Bit: Obtained by reaching 6000 trophies.
- EMZ: As unlocked with 8000 trophies.
This is the slowest way to get new characters, but the most reliable. It is 100% certain that reaching the required number of trophies will unlock the respective brawler.
Unlock brawlers by opening boxes
There are three types of boxes in Brawl Stars: Brawl Boxes, Big Boxes and Mega Boxes. Getting and unlocking them might be the quickest way to get new characters, but it’s also the most unreliable way. Opening one of these boxes does not guarantee that a new brawler will appear (it will likely only contain Coins, some Gems, and Strength Points, not necessarily in that order).
The Brawl Box
In these boxes you will find the rest of the characters, the rare, very rare, epic, mythical and the legendary brawlers. As previously mentioned, there is no guarantee that these boxes will contain any of these figures.
And how do you get these boxes? To explain briefly, you can also win yourself in Trophy Road, as free (and for those with the Brawl Pass) seasonal rewards, or by exchanging them for gems that you have to pay real money for.
