In order to be able to use the C4 explosive, we must first collect it and thus have it in our inventory.
Click on the C4 to collect it
Now we have to select them.
Select C4 to throw them
When the C4 is selected we must throw it by tapping on the throw icon. However, we must bear in mind that these are thrown with a certain force, so we will have to calculate well where to place our sights.
After tapping the discard icon, the C4s will be placed
Finally, when we have thrown all the explosives that we want to detonate, we must tap on the explosion icon.

C4: Strategies and Applications
C4 explosive is useful in certain situations. It should be noted that because of their tiny size difficult to spot and can be placed anywhere. It’s best used indoors, especially in hallways, because the moment an opponent crosses the hallway, we’d be just a touch away from completing our attack.
There are two main disadvantages of this object:
- They can be blasted by gunfire.
- If we place one near an opponent, they will hear a recognizable sound.

Because of these two disadvantages, our recommendation is to only use them in very specific situations. They can be especially useful when we do the “Camping” Strategy apply, i.e. stay in a house with the explosives at the door and wait for someone to enter to give them a “little” welcome scare.
Is the C4 explosive available?
Like all other consumable items and weapons, C4 Explosives are always available in Fortnite Creative. When we are on our island we just have to go to the Consumables section of our inventory to add them to our inventory.

In the case of the Battle Royale mode, sometimes they are available and sometimes not. Epic Games typically adds new items and removes others in the middle of each season, so it may take us a while to find them (sometimes a week, sometimes months).
