After conversing with the buyer or seller through the app’s chat, you have the option to click the buy button or receive an offer from the user who wants to buy your product.

How to buy with Wallapop Shipping
When you click the buy button, you will see a price that includes the product you want to buy as well as the amount for shipping and Wallapop insurance (€2.49). You can then choose to receive the package at home or at a nearby post office, with a small price difference:
- to your address: For a price of €3.95 you will receive the product directly at your home address. It is processed by SEUR and usually works quickly. Depending on where you live and other factors such as public holidays, it may take longer or shorter for items to get to you, but you will be advised of this when you purchase with Wallapop Shipping.
- pickup point: Choose a public body, e.g. B. a post office nearby so that you can pick up your package there. With a price of €2.95, it will take between 3 and 7 working days to receive it.

If the seller declines your offer after you click “buy” and enter all your information, you will receive a full refund. So you can repeat the offer or ask the seller in the chat what could be the reason for the cancellation.
How to sell with Wallapop Shipping
On the other hand, if you list a product for sale and get an interested buyer, you have to Accept click once you get the offer (which you previously created in chat etc.). After that appears a barcode that you should take to a post office of your choiceso she can register it and use it to ship your package. It is advisable to pack the goods you want to sell beforehand. You can do this yourself at the post office, but they will charge you extra for the envelope or box they sell. The Post may reject a product that is not properly packaged. So if you’re not sure if you can do it right, it’s better to leave it in the hands of professionals.
Wallapop’s home delivery service
Another option you can use with Wallapop shipping is to that Seur picks up the package at your home, which, however, involves additional costs for you. Concretely, it costs 2.25€, which will be deducted from the total amount of the sale. You also have to pack the package correctly here and have the barcode you received printed and stuck on the envelope or box. This package must not be heavier than 30 kg and must not exceed 270 cm in height, length and width. In this case, once Seur has collected the money, it will reach its recipient within 48 working hours and you, the seller, will receive the money within just 3 working days.
Wallapop Shipping VS Traditional Shipping
If you want to save on Wallapop insurance or need to ship a package that exceeds the allowable weight or dimensions, you can opt for traditional shipping instead of using Wallapop. This has a number of advantages, like the ones just mentioned, but it also offers the fewest guarantees, because nothing guarantees that the seller or buyer will always act honestly and fairly after the payment has been made or the goods have been shipped.
That’s why we only recommend traditional shipping instead of Wallapop shipping if you trust the buyer/seller because despite contacting and talking through the app, Wallapop is not liable for any loss of money or items.
Resolve delivery issues on Wallapop
Solving delivery problems on WallapopWhen you receive the product you have purchased, it may have defects or you may want to return it for some other reason. In this case, you have up to 48 hours from the time the package shows as “delivered” in the app to open a dispute. After choosing the reason for the complaint, you can add photos showing the problem with the product. If all goes well and the seller accepts your formal complaint, they will begin the process of returning the product and money, following the instructions provided in each case.
