Once we create a Free Fire account we already have an ID, a number that identifies us in the game. To find out this number, one has to start Free Fire and from the starting platform tap on the player’s tab at the top left.

A screen will appear with your own profile, and among the data is the ID, now called the UID (User ID).

What the Free Fire ID is useful for
The main purpose of the Free Fire ID is to identify you in a standardized way. Keep in mind that some nicknames are unpronounceable and even difficult to spell, while the Free Fire ID consists of only 12 digits.
That’s why the ID number always remains the sameeven if we link our Free Fire account to other services (Twitter, Facebook, Google…) or change our username.
The number cannot be used to log into the game or the Garena website, but it can to contact the company be used. For example, if we have unfortunately lost our smartphone and with it the link to the Free Fire account, we can contact Garena with our account ID to try to recover it.
Another benefit is to join tournaments or official competitions to report. Again, it’s much more convenient and easier for the organizers to identify you with numbers than with unpronounceable nicknames.
