Where is the line spacing setting in Word

Microsoft Word includes many options that you can use to customize the look of your documents. One of these functions is the line spacing. Here’s where to find this feature and how to use it in your files.

Find the line spacing icon. It consists of two arrows pointing in opposite directions. It also shows four horizontal lines that represent the shape of a paragraph. When you click on it, a pop-up menu will appear where you can select some standard options.

If you increase the line spacing, the paragraphs in your documents will be further apart. In the image below you can see that the line spacing is set to 3.0 points.

In the new window that appears on the screen, you can change other parameters related to the paragraph style. The options related to line spacing are in the box Spacing (Distance) grouped.
